View Calculation Methodology

1. Wet Volume of Concrete: Length × Width × Thickness.

2. Dry Volume of Concrete: Wet Volume × 1.54. This factor accounts for the voids in fine and coarse aggregates and volume reduction after hydration.

3. Sum of Ratio Parts: For a mix like 1:2:4, the sum is 1 + 2 + 4 = 7.

4. Volume of Cement: (Dry Volume × Cement Part) / Sum of Ratio Parts.

5. Number of Cement Bags: Volume of Cement / 0.0347 m³ (volume of one 50kg bag).

6. Volume of Sand/Aggregate: (Dry Volume × Sand/Aggregate Part) / Sum of Ratio Parts.

View Calculation Methodology

1. Number of Bars: (Opposite Side Length / Spacing) + 1.

2. Length of One Bar: This is typically the dimension of the element, minus concrete cover on both sides.

3. Total Length of Bars: Number of Bars × Length of One Bar.

4. Unit Weight of Steel Bar: D²/162 (where D is the diameter in mm). The result is in kg/m.

5. Total Weight: Total Length × Unit Weight.

6. Stirrups/Ties: Calculation involves finding the perimeter of the stirrup (length of one tie) and the total number of ties (element length/spacing).
